Matariki Lantern Workshop

Create your own light to honour the stars of Matariki! In this hands-on workshop, participants aged 8 and over will craft a beautiful Matariki-themed lantern using laser-cut wooden pieces designed right here in our makerspace.

Each lantern will feature the nine stars of Matariki and is perfect for lighting up your home or whānau celebrations. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the meaning of Matariki through creativity, storytelling, and making something truly special to take home.
