Local Businesses Back Family Fun Day
Family Fun Day is returning to Feilding for its fourth year, bringing with it strong support from local businesses and community organisations determined to keep this much-loved event completely free.
Hosted by Manawatū Community Hub Libraries / Manawatū District Council, the event will be held on Sunday, 22 March 2026, from 10am to 1pm at Victoria Park, Feilding. Families can expect a morning packed with inflatables, family-friendly activities, popcorn and tasty snacks, giveaways and opportunities to engage with local groups all completely free to enjoy.
What makes Family Fun Day especially unique is the way the business community rallies behind it.

Marie Willis, Community Programmes Manager, says, “Family Fun Day is about bringing families together for a great day out with no barriers. The fun is easy, and the focus is simply on spending time together and enjoying the community,” she says. “We are incredibly grateful to the businesses, organisations and community groups who step up each year to make this possible. Their support means everything at the event can remain completely free.”
Families attending can look forward to booths hosted by local clubs and organisations, giving children and adults the chance to try something new whether that’s sport, creative activities, community services or simply discovering what’s happening locally.
With large crowds expected to attend, the event has quickly become one of the district’s most anticipated free events.
