School Holiday Programmes
Manawatū Community Hub Libraries is so much more than a traditional library. With daily programming, bookable spaces, and a café on site it’s the perfect place to explore, create and connect. Here are a few of the things on offer this September/October:

NOTE: Children under the age of 8 must be actively supervised and in view of a responsible caregiver (aged 16 years or older).
Craft Sessions
Craft sessions run from 10am - 11:30am.
Limited supplies are available, so we suggest arriving between 10am - 10:30am.
Virtual Reality Sessions - 20 minutes
20 minute Virtual Reality (VR) sessions available between 2pm - 4pm, at set times each week (see timetable). Age 8+

Poolside Crafts
Get creative poolside at the Makino with fun, hands-on crafts to make and take home.
Jump in and out of the pool as you go, creating something unique along the way. Bring your friends and enjoy a relaxes, creative space together.
No bookings needed, just normal pool entry and a bit of creativity.
Jacket Remix Workshop
Bring your own denim or heavyweight cotton jacket or jeans and make it uniquely yours. Design and sublimate your own patches, choose from pre-designed options, and learn to attach them by hand or machine. No sewing experience needed.
$12 per person, Ages 12+, Limited to 10 spaces
