Communication plays a crucial role in the development of any organisation. Recently a national organisation with an office in Feilding took up the opportunity of booking one of the new, public meeting rooms at Te Āhuru Mōwai to help revitalise their regularly scheduled meeting.
“The Tui Mayo room is a great space to get out of our regular office for meetings.” Blake Jones, Head of Forestry at Forest360 explains. “It's nice, quiet and it is quite special to be surrounded by the very well repurposed 100-year-old joinery from the old council chambers.”
Manawatū Community Hub Libraries offers four modern rooms that can be easily reserved online for meetings and events from zoom calls, interviews, corporate or community meetings to events, the rooms offer a conducive environment for productive collaboration.
All spaces have dedicated tables, chairs, modern technology and complimentary Wi-Fi that are prepared and ready to use so there is no need to stress about setting up equipment.
Smaller meetings are best in the Ngutu Kākā room. The Tui Mayo is a beautiful heritage room with seating for 14, the Pātiki event space can accomodate 146 people or be divided into two meeing rooms; Pātiki Onepū and Pātiki Tahuaroa.
